o Follow GEORGE BUSH TURNPIKE (190) West to TX-78
o Follow TX-78 North towards Wylie
o TX-78 North is also called LAVON PARKWAY
o Proceed on LAVON PARKWAY to SANDEN BOULEVARD
o Turn Left onto SANDEN BOULEVARD carefully crossing railroad tracks to HENSLEY LANE
o Turn Left onto HENSLEY LANE to JERRY WAYNE COMBEST ROAD
o Turn Right onto JERRY WAYNE COMBEST ROAD and proceed to the Visitors Parking Lot
o Pirate Stadium is behind Wylie HS, which is on corner of FM544 & COUNTRY CLUB ROAD
Alternate Route (Football games):
o Follow 14th STREET East becoming WEST KIRBY STREET (FM544)
o Trucks, turn right onto COUNTRY CLUB ROAD and proceed to Visitors Parking Lot
o Buses, continue to SANDEN BOULEVARD
o Turn Right onto SANDEN BOULEVARD to HENSLEY LANE
o Turn Right onto HENSLEY LANE to JERRY WAYNE COMBEST ROAD
o Turn Right onto JERRY WAYNE COMBEST ROAD and proceed to the Visitors Parking Lot
o Pirate Stadium is behind Wylie HS, which is on corner of FM544 & COUNTRY CLUB ROAD
Alternate Route:
o Follow PARKER ROAD East to COUNTRY CLUB ROAD (FM1378)
o Turn Right onto COUNTRY CLUB ROAD (FM1378) to WEST KIRBY STREET (FM544)
o Continue on COUNTRY CLUB ROAD crossing West Kirby Street
o Wylie High School is on the corner of FM544 & COUNTRY CLUB ROAD
Notes:
1. This is also the location for Wylie High School – Pirate Stadium where facilities for football, track,
softball and baseball are located.
2. Football Team Buses will park in the eight spaces on the east side of the stadium directly across
from the athletic department office near the tennis courts. Other buses and trucks will fill spaces left
by the Team Buses with remaining buses parking in the visiting parking lot in the spaces reserved
for visiting buses.
